A searchable library of more than 2,700 browser games
A browser-based entertainment platform I develop and operate. More than 2,700 games sit behind a single search bar and an interactive homepage.
The brief
With a library this large, the main design problem is helping people find something to play. Search needed to feel instant, and browsing needed to work for visitors who arrive without a title in mind.
Approach
Search filters the full library as the visitor types. Below it, games are organized into rows by genre and series, followed by a complete grid that loads in pages.
The homepage is rendered with Three.js. Games play inside the site, in an isolated player that keeps them separate from the surrounding interface.
